Coffee Macarons
Elegant French macarons with subtle coffee flavor.

Ingredients
- 1 cup of Caffitaly Brasil coffee
- 100g almond flour
- 75g powdered sugar
- 35g sugar
- 2 egg whites
- 120g softened butter (for filling)
- 60g powdered sugar (for filling)

Prepare the coffee and let it cool

Mix the powdered sugar with almond flour

Whip the egg whites, gradually adding sugar

Fold the flour mixture and coffee into the egg whites

Pipe circles onto a baking sheet

Let rest 30 minutes before baking at 150°C for 12-15 minutes

Prepare the filling by beating butter with powdered sugar
Barista Tip
Macarons should form "feet" at the base. If they don't, the batter may be too liquid.
